Downloads
Official installers, and how to check them.
Each installer below is listed with the exact file name, its size in bytes and its SHA-256 checksum, so a file can be verified against what was actually published. A platform with nothing published yet says so, and says why.
Getting it working takes three steps, not one. They are below, in order, and each one goes to the place that carries it.

What your browser will say about the Windows installer
Your browser may warn about this installer — Edge says it could harm your device, Firefox says it is not commonly downloaded. Neither is a detection. Both mean the same thing: the file is new, and it has not been downloaded enough times yet for Microsoft or Google to have an opinion about it.
What tells you the file is really ours is the publisher Windows names when you run it: Palacios Software Group LLC. If it names anyone else, or says Unknown Publisher, stop. The SHA-256 above is the same file.
Linux package verification
Optional, and nothing does it for you
Installing a .deb does not check this. Both dpkg -i and apt install ./file.deb install the package without verifying who made it, which is true of every .deb from anywhere. The check is one you choose to run before installing, and nothing on your system will warn you if you skip it.

OpenPGP key fingerprint
6EAEC1D596F6C0F7B546EE854907B9F29B713D89Compare all forty characters, never just the last few, and confirm them somewhere other than this page before you trust the key — a signature proves the package and the key go together, not that the key is ours.
Verify, then install
gpg --dearmor < yoslion-linux-signing-6EAEC1D596F6C0F7B546EE854907B9F29B713D89.asc > yoslion.gpggpgv --keyring ./yoslion.gpg yoslion-download_1.0.2_amd64.deb.asc yoslion-download_1.0.2_amd64.debKeep the ./ — without it gpgv looks inside your GnuPG home instead of the folder you are in, finds no keyring, and answers “Can’t check signature: No public key”. That is not a verdict about the package.
Browser extensions
The extension hands a download to Yoslion Download, which performs it. It downloads nothing itself, so it needs the application installed and running on the same computer.
Step 1
Install Yoslion Download on your computer.
The installers are above, with the checksum for each.
Step 2
Add the extension for the browser you use.
One extension covers the Chromium browsers; Firefox has its own, and Safari’s arrives with the macOS application.
Step 3
Start a download and let them connect.
They talk over your own machine. Nothing about a download is sent to us.
Chrome & Chromium browsers
From the storeWorks in
- Google Chrome
- Microsoft Edge
- Brave
- Chromium
- Opera
- Identity
- jbddlgncoljibdenillmmibcegpgicnb
Install it, then start a download as you normally would. Yoslion Download has to be running on the same computer for the extension to have anywhere to hand it.
One extension, one listing and one identity for all of these. There is no separate build per browser, and nothing changes about how it works from one to the next.
Edge installs it from the Chrome Web Store too. Open the listing in Edge and allow extensions from other stores when Edge asks — that prompt is Edge's, and it appears once.
Opera installs it from the Chrome Web Store as well, and warns that the extension did not come from Opera's own add-ons store. That is true — there is no Opera listing and none is planned — and the permissions it shows are notifications, downloads, and talking to Yoslion Download on your computer.
Firefox
From the storeWorks in
- Mozilla Firefox
- Identity
- yoslion-download@yoslion.com
Install it, then start a download as you normally would. Yoslion Download has to be running on the same computer for the extension to have anywhere to hand it.
A separate build, reviewed and published by Mozilla, because Firefox extensions are a different format with a different identity. No keyboard shortcut is assigned until you choose one in Firefox's own extension shortcuts.
Safari
With the appWorks in
- Safari
- Identity
- com.yoslion.download.SafariExtension
It arrives with Yoslion Download for macOS. Open Safari, go to Settings, then Extensions, and switch Yoslion Download on — Safari does not enable a new extension by itself.
There is no App Store listing for it and none is planned. Safari needs macOS 13 or later, although the application itself runs on macOS 11 — on macOS 11 or 12 you get the application without the Safari extension.
Included in Yoslion Download for macOS. There is nothing separate to install.
What the checksum proves
Running the command on a card and getting the same value back proves one thing precisely: the file on your disk is byte-for-byte the file published at that version. A single changed byte produces a completely different value.
It does not prove the file is safe, and it is not what your operating system checks when you run an installer — that is the code signature, which it verifies on its own. The checksum is how you confirm that what reached you is what left here.
Downloading, buying and activating
These are three separate things and this page only does the first. Installing Yoslion Download does not require a licence key, and nothing on this page starts a purchase or asks for one.
Yoslion Download includes open-source software. Notices and source code. If something here does not match what you have, contact support before running the file.
