YoslionDownload

Desktop download manager

Downloads you can trust.

3 desktop platforms. 7 major browsers. One download manager.

Yoslion Download does one job: move a file from a server onto your disk, correctly. Transfers are segmented across several connections, progress is written durably as it goes, and an interruption resumes from what is genuinely on disk — not from a guess.

Available at launch for

  • Windows
  • macOS
  • Linux
  • Reliable transfers
  • File integrity
  • Safe recovery
  • Honest state
Interface preview — an illustrative composition of the Yoslion Download window, drawn in the browser. It is not a screenshot, and the file names, progress and rates shown are examples rather than measurements. One row demonstrates a transfer pausing and resuming; the movement illustrates behaviour and measures nothing. No rate or count animates.

    The common desktop environments.

One license across all three, pooled across your active installations.

Yoslion Download includes open-source software. Notices and source code.

Features

Built around the transfer itself.

Every capability below exists to make the same thing true: the file that lands on your disk is the file the server sent, and the state you see reflects what actually happened.

  • 01

    Segmented downloads

A transfer is split into byte ranges fetched over several connections and written straight to their exact positions on disk.

  • 02

    Adaptive connections

The number of active connections is adjusted while a transfer runs, instead of being fixed once at the start and left alone.

  • 03

    Pause and resume

Stop a transfer and pick it up later. Resuming continues from progress that was already committed to disk.

  • 04

    Safe recovery

After a network failure, a crash or a restart, a transfer resumes from its last durable checkpoint rather than from an assumption.

  • 05

    File integrity protections

Partial data is kept apart from the final file, and the finished file is put into place as a single atomic step.

  • 06

    Disk-space preflight

Available space is checked before a transfer starts, instead of the problem surfacing once the work is nearly done.

Also included

  • Download history and details
  • Startup recovery
  • Tray and notifications
  • Browser capture infrastructure
  • In-app updater

Reliability

Downloads should finish correctly, not merely quickly.

That principle decides the trade-offs in this product. When correctness and convenience disagree, correctness wins — and when something does go wrong, you are told the truth about it.

Safe recovery
An interrupted transfer continues from the progress that was already written, so an outage or a restart costs you the last few seconds rather than the whole file.
Durable checkpoints
Progress is recorded to disk as the transfer runs. What the interface reports is backed by what is on disk, never by an optimistic counter.
Changed representations
If the file being served changes while a transfer is running, that is detected and reported instead of quietly stitching together bytes from two different files.
Honest state
Progress, status and failures describe the real state of the transfer. A failure is shown as a failure; nothing is fabricated to look like success.

How it works

Three steps, and nothing hidden between them.

  1. 1

    Start your download

Hand Yoslion Download a URL and choose where the file should land. It goes into the queue and starts when a slot is free.

  2. 2

    Yoslion adapts the transfer

The transfer is split across connections and adjusted while it runs, and every piece is written to its own position on disk.

  3. 3

    Pause, resume or recover safely

Pause whenever you need to. After an interruption or a restart, the transfer picks up from its last durable checkpoint.

Browsers

Works with the browsers you use.

Browser integration for Google Chrome, Chromium, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Microsoft Edge, Brave and Opera. A download you start in the browser is handed to Yoslion Download, which takes it from there.

FAQ

Questions, answered plainly.

What is Yoslion Download?

A desktop download manager for Windows, macOS and Linux. It transfers files over HTTP and HTTPS using several connections at once, keeps durable progress as it goes, and lets you pause, resume and recover transfers. It is not a torrent client, a media extractor or a web browser.

What kinds of downloads does it handle?

Yoslion Download handles ordinary HTTP and HTTPS file transfers. It does not extract streaming media or bypass DRM or access controls.

What happens after 12 months of maintenance?

Your license does not expire, and the version you already have keeps working. Maintenance covers all releases published during those 12 months. After that, you keep everything you already have with no automatic renewal or charge. If you want access to newer releases again, you can optionally renew maintenance for another 12 months.

Does it support pause and resume?

Yes. A transfer can be paused and resumed, and resuming continues from progress that was already written to disk rather than restarting the file.

What happens if a download is interrupted?

Progress is checkpointed durably while the transfer runs, so after a network failure, a crash or a restart the transfer resumes from its last durable checkpoint. If the file being served changed in the meantime, that is detected and reported instead of combining mismatched data.

Is there a subscription?

No. Yoslion Download is licensed, not subscribed: a one-time purchase of $29 USD for a perpetual license with 12 months of maintenance, usable on up to 3 active installations. There is no recurring charge and nothing renews automatically.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. You can request a full refund within 7 calendar days of purchase by writing to support@palaciossoftwaregroup.com. That window is our own policy and does not cut short any longer right the law where you live gives you.

Which browsers does it work with?

Browser integration is built for Google Chrome, Chromium, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Microsoft Edge, Brave and Opera.

How many computers can I use it on?

Up to 3 active installations on one license, pooled across the platforms you use. Moving to a new machine means releasing an installation you no longer need, not buying the license again.

Which operating systems are supported?

Windows, macOS and Linux. Yoslion Download is a native desktop application on each, and one license covers all three.
